Registration: https://www.thepathfinders.org/phpsurveyor/index.php?sid=33155

Activity:

This weekend is cabin camping at Dow Drukker Scout Reservation home to Camp Turrell and Kluge.

We have reserved the lower cabin #1 at camp Kluge. The cabin holds up to 28 people in bunks and is heated by propane and is probably the nicest cabin we stay in as a troop. This is a great opportunity for the new scouts coming into the Troop to work on advancements and also to see the facilities at Camp Turrell for those thinking about attending our summer camping trip. We are also looking for older scout participation to help out with requirements for cooking and running the Hike and Orienteering course. For those looking to complete some tent overnights, this is another great opportunity to accomplish that as well. Space is limited in the cabin so register soon!!

Friday: Meet at OLPH at 5:15 pm, roll call and leave at 5:30pm, arriving around 7 pm.

Prep and eat dinner. Setup camp, work on advancements, play games etc. go to bed around 2 am (kidding, just making sure your still reading this!)

Saturday:

Breakfast in camp, older scouts head out to setup an orienteering course to Camp Turrell.

Possible bag lunch for hike.

There are extensive hiking trails throughout the Camp property.  We will have an orienteering/hike to Camp Turrell in the afternoon after which we will complete the Search and Rescue merit badge for those that get lost. (Again, just making sure your still reading!) LOL
