Goals for Program Year 2009-2010
1. One trip or outing each month with one camping night.
2. Provide a program that gets scouts to rank advancement by February Court of Honor.
3. Strengthen Order of the Arrow participation.
4. Participate in District events to strengthen the feeling of brotherhood and to network with other troops.
5. Remember, to be considered “active” in the troop for rank advancement you must attend half of the meetings and half of the trips.
6. Calendar items are subject to change since there may be adjustments here and there as we go.

Please read the requirements and have pre work complete and requirement questions answered when you arrive to complete the badge that evening.

Troop 49 Court of Honor. Pot luck Supper 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Court of Honor 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Dessert 8:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Class A Uniform is required of all Scouts.
If you cannot attend the potluck dinner you may still attend the Court of Honor Ceremony at 7:30pm.
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles or those that would like to share in your Scout’s achievements are welcomed. Please bring your favorite family dinner enough to feed your family and share with others. Troop 49 will provide 10 chafing racks for families to place either half trays or full trays of food.
Troop 49 will be providing refreshments.

Friday Evening: 6:30 PM Meet at OLPH and car pool up to camp. 7:30 PM Check in and settle into the cabins for the night. Ford Cabin is on top of the hill to the South of the parking lot. Welch cabin is up the road to the north of camp. The new Scouts and their parents will be in Ford and the senior Scouts can decide if they want Welch for themselves. The cabins have woodstove, tables, and electricity. Saturday: Activities in and around camp. Explore the camp, work on advancement requirements, exploring camp, playing games, etc…Extensive hiking trails in the neighboring state forest offer opportunities. If there is snow, the sledding is excellent! For more information on the camp, click here Saturday Night: Supper in Camp. Fantastic star gazing if the night is clear. Bring binoculars or a telescope if you have one. Sunday Morning: Breakfast in camp. Pack up and return home by 11:00 AM
