August 28-29 Trip: High Point State Park

As summer winds to a close you have the opportunity to spend time hiking, being with fellow scouts and getting in a needed tent night!

Mr. Fishman and Mr. Richards will be taking a group of scouts, and welcome parents, to High Point State Park. Wednesday, August 28, overnight to Thursday, the 29th.

Siblings with parents are welcome on this trip!

The Details:

Plan is to leave around 2 pm on Tuesday, August 28 to arrive early enough to set up tents and get in a short hike before dinner.

We will have a flag retirement ceremony at our campfire.  After breakfast on Wednesday, August 28, we will have an additional hike to take in the awesome beauty of the area.

Cost is $10/person.

We will have access to cars on this trip, but no trailer will be on site. So you must be prepared and have supplies you may need with you. (Meals will be provided.)

Currently, only two adults are going, so carpooling will be limited. More adults are welcome or you can drop off at the park, only an hour away.

We already have cooks set for the trip, but registration will close on Saturday, August 25th to allow for complete planning.
