Details:

Troop 49 is doing a Backpacking Trip! We will be hiking from Oakland to Mahwah.  This Backpacking trip is going to help scouts with physical fitness, mental awareness, leadership and outdoor skills.  It will be an opportunity for a life changing experience!

We are planning on hiking approximately 6 miles from Camp Glen Grey to Camp Yaw Paw.  We have a cabin reserved to handle 20 people for those that wish or set up a tent and sleep outdoors. Should the weather cooperate, and enough people want we could hike back to Camp Glen Grey on Sunday.

The route has been designed to offer a backpacking experience for new as well as seasoned backpackers.
